This is the B side to my original Christmas track. I wanted to experiment with this one and do some 1940's style block harmonies so I had Judy, the pianist work out an arrangement similar to the B. Swanson Quartet version. I think it adds a fresh spin to a well treaded classic!
lyrics
Oh the weather outside is frightful
But the fire is so delightful
And since we've no place to go
Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow
Man, it doesn't show signs of stopping
And I've brought me some corn for popping
The lights are turned way down low
Let it snow, let it snow
When we finally kiss goodnight
How I'll hate going out in the storm
But if you'll really hold me tight
All the way home I'll be warm
And the fire is slowly dying
And, my dear, we're still goodbying
But as long as you love me so
Let it snow, let it snow and snow
He doesn't care if it's 10 below,
He's sitting by the fire's cozy glow,
He don't care about the cold or the wind that blows,
He just says,
"Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!"
Oo wee goes the storm,
Why should he worry when he's nice and warm?
A gal by his side and the lights turned low,
He just says,
"Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!"
Oh the weather outside is frightful
But the fire is so delightful
And since we've no place to go
Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow
Man, it doesn't show signs of stopping
And I've brought me some corn for popping
The lights are turned way down low
Let it snow, let it snow
When we finally kiss goodnight
How I'll hate going out in the storm
But if you'll really hold me tight
All the way home I'll be warm
And the fire is slowly dying
And, my dear, we're still goodbying
But as long as you love me so
Let it snow, let it snow and snow
